We also express our deepest gratitude for the prompt repeal of the Global Gag Rule and thank President Obama for taking a strong stand against this harmful policy which jeopardizes women’s health around the world.  Not only will this action save the lives of countless women subject to the perils of unsafe abortion, but it will also help ensure that adequate resources are available to reduce unwanted pregnancy.
